I have had the opportunity to capture images of the extraordinary beauty of the American Southwest from the Four Corners to the Chiricahua Mountains. I recall standing on the north rim of the Grand Canyon at Yavapai Point waiting for the sun to set and setting up for a panorama when I realized that mere feet from me the earth dropped away a mile down to the Colorado River. I have stood on other canyon rims and with my images I have attempted to capture some of the awe I felt being there.
